Lagarta is a company based in the city of Ponta Delgada, Azores (Portugal) providing predefined and custom tours within the city for tourists and visitors to the southern coast of the island of São Miguel. Using emblematic road trains, we provide guided tours that include historic, cultural and scenic views of the city, with routes that wind through the centre, along many of the roadways assisted by audioguides to provide descriptive explanations of the city's heritage and cultural landmarks. Tours include itineraries that encompass the history (historic tours), beauty and natural landscapes (garden or beache tours), in addition to special packages to experience regional foods (to a pineapple plantation or special degustations of regional foods). In addition, Lagarta provides limousine services tailored to locals and visitors that wish to make their special moments festive or their stay in São Miguel memorable. This consists of unique packages to assist in making your activities (parties, weddings, romantic evenings or birthdays) dynamic and unique, and specific convenience servies (such as transfers to/from the airports, restaurants and hotels) to facilite your stay.
